New look and updated mission. Same lifelong benefit.

As we entered our second century of service to YMCAs, we thought it was the perfect time to evaluate how we show up for Y staff. Our promise of lifetime income to those who serve their communities remains steadfast… but what we realized when we looked closer was that our visual identity and how we articulate that promise needed a little freshening up.

We are proud to unveil a refreshed brand to the Y community. We did this for two main reasons:
• To help today’s Y staff better understand the uniqueness and value of the Y Retirement benefit
• For Y staff to see us as more closely aligned with the Y community

Along with our refreshed brand, we’re also announcing our updated mission and vision statements as approved by the Board of Trustees at its February 2024 meeting. These statements are the foundation for why we do what we do and how the decisions we make connect with our vision for the future.

Mission: To partner with YMCAs to help those who serve others build a foundation for financial security in retirement
Vision: Generations of YMCA employees approach the future with anticipation and confidence

The process of making these brand updates will take some time so you may still see our “old” brand elements every now and then. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding, and we hope you like what you see and hear from us in the months to come!
