Getting Started

To get started administering the Y Retirement benefit, your YMCA should designate a Local Plan Administrator who will become the expert on all things Y Retirement for your team. Once a Local Plan Administrator (LPA) has been identified, contact us to set up onboarding, learn about the resources available, and ensure your Y’s contact information is up to date.

One Fund, Two Plans

Y Retirement Plans incorporate features of both defined contribution and defined benefits plans, meaning we help participants accumulate retirement savings AND receive guaranteed income for life in retirement. The Y Retirement benefit is more flexible than a defined benefit plan (offering some plan portability) and provides more safety than a typical defined contribution plan by managing investment and longevity risk.
