What is
YERDI?

YERDI (YMCA Employee Retirement Data Interchange) is Y Retirement’s portal for YMCAs administering the benefit. It’s where you’ll go to update important employee information, submit transmittals, view reports, access resources, and so much more.

Who should access YERDI?

YERDI is primarily used by your Y’s Local Plan Administrator (LPA), but is also commonly accessed by CHROs or HRVPs, as well as other Y leaders like CEOs and CFOs.

I'm a new LPA, how do I get access to YERDI?

If someone else at your Y already has YERDI access, they can make a request for you by logging in to YERDI, selecting the “Home” tab from the blue menu bar and clicking “Apply for New YERDI Log In.” You can also give our Contact Center a call, and we’ll be happy to get you set-up.

What is YERDI used for?

Primarily, LPAs will use YERDI to manage their employees’ participation in the Y Retirement benefit. This includes enrolling or terminating employees from the 401(a) Retirement Plan and 403(b) Savings Plan, updating employee information, submitting payroll transmittals, completing Non-Discrimination Coverage Testing, and viewing reports. There are also a number of specialized tasks LPAs will complete in YERDI, so we recommend logging in and exploring the Learning Hub for more information.

What resources are available in YERDI?

In YERDI, you can access resources like the Y Retirement Communications Guide that has sample materials, language, and more to help your Y meet compliance requirements and share information about the unique retirement benefit your Y is providing.
