Although the global financial markets continue to experience volatility, your retirement savings are protected. Participant account balances are secure and have not decreased, and our retirees will continue to receive their monthly annuity payments on time.

Our investment team strives to maintain a diversified portfolio and manages the assets of the Fund’s portfolio for the long term in order to withstand short-term market volatility.

Throughout our nearly 100-year history, the Fund has persevered during good and bad economic times, including the Great Depression, two world wars, 9/11, and the Great Financial Crisis of 2008-2009. We are confident that the Fund will weather this storm.
